The theme of the ceremony was "Multi-vision intelligent manufacturing". The total investment of TCL Huaxing in Wuhan has exceeded 75 billion yuan. As the first 6-generation LTPS display panel production line in China, TCL Huaxing t3 production line has the industry's top core equipment, and has the hardware foundation advantage in high-level product research and development. In 2021, TCL Huaxing will invest an additional 15 billion yuan in the construction and expansion of t3 project, which is the G6 LTPS production line planned to further meet the market demand for middle and high-end products.
The expansion project plans to adopt VR technology, Touch screen technology (Touch Panel+ active pen technology), Mini LED backlight display technology, LTPO technology, etc., mainly producing small and medium-sized high value-added IT display, vehicle display, VR display panel and other products, which are expected to achieve mass production in the first half of 2023.
After the project is put into operation, Wuhan Huaxing Optoelectronics will be the largest LTPS factory in the world. It will form the advantages of scale and agglomeration effect, which has extremely important strategic significance for China's new display industry to catch up with the world's advanced level. At the same time, Wuhan Huaxing Optoelectronics will also cooperate with Guangzhou, Huizhou and India to develop a competitive product portfolio, utilize resources in multiple places to improve capacity flexibility, and better meet the needs of global customers.
